Food therapy is based on a simple but powerful principle: nutrition is the foundation of health. Dogs and cats have species-specific biological needs—dogs as facultative carnivores and cats as obligate carnivores. Their bodies are designed to process nutrients from animal-based sources efficiently.

When it comes to the health of dogs and cats, nutrition is not simply about feeding enough—it is about feeding appropriately for their biology.
